Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries - Grace, Hendersonville, NC. Full-time

The purpose statement of Grace Lutheran Church is Transforming Lives Through Christ. The Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries is charged with developing and overseeing those ministries specifically aimed at transforming the lives of young people (Middle School through Young Adult). Through a partnership with their families and the church, the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries will nurture the spiritual growth of the youth and young adults as they make the transition from children to mature Christian disciples. Director of Student and Young Adult Ministries - St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury, NC. Full-time.

The Director oversees a dynamic ministry for middle school, high school and college students, as well as an emerging ministry with young adults. The three main areas of responsibility include: 1. Student Ministry (middle and high school youth). The Director overseas a multi-faceted program of learning, fellowship, and service, with particular emphasis on building Christ-centered relationships and helping students connect faith and life. 2. College Ministry. The Director assists the congregation’s high school students in their transition from 12th grade to college, maintaining relationship and providing Christ-centered resources and opportunities throughout their college careers. Additionally, the Director will serve as liaison to Lutheran students enrolled in the community’s three colleges. 3. Young Adult Ministry. This ministry is new to the congregation, but is born from a passion to meet the growing challenges of ministry to/with emerging generations. Coordinator of Youth and Family Ministries - Redeemer Lutheran Church, Gastonia, NC. Full-time

Seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to lead our Youth and Family Ministries. The primary purpose as coordinator is to help our congregation make disciples by encouraging participation of all ages in the various ministries of our church, i.e. worship, Christian education, and service both within and outside the congregation. This person will be responsible for recruiting, planning, training, and coordinating teams of adults to work with children and youth and to help them live out their faith within the congregation, the community, and the world. This person will be responsible for facilitating and supporting our youth, Sunday School, Confirmation, and Vacation Bible School programs for ages preschool through 12th grade. This person will be the primary leader of the high school youth program. We are seeking a person with passion/experience in Youth and Family Ministry, a motivator of people and builder of teams, and a self-starter who is open to growth. Position available now. Calvary Lutheran Church is seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to lead our Youth and Family Ministries. The primary purpose of the director is to provide meaningful opportunities for church youth and their families to grow, share and live their faith in Jesus Christ through worship, learning, fellowship and service activities.
