Milestone Ministries

Together with parents, it is important to mark and celebrate special milestones in our children's Christian faith development and baptismal journey.

Purpose - The purpose of Milestone Ministries is to support parents in their role as primary educators in the faith development of their children. Our combined purpose is to pass on the faith to our children. This is in fulfillment of the baptismal promises.

Trinity, Vale - High school senior day in May. During this service they recognize their graduating seniors, present them with a quilt that was quilted by members of their congregation and have the families of the graduates come forward to bless the quilts and their children. They are also presented with a framed poem from their Christian Education committee. Following the service there is a meal for the graduates and their families.

Christ, Charlotte - They celebrate the birth of a child with a home visit, a cradle cross and a lullaby CD. Baptism brings a heritage chest; First Communion a blessing cup.
